Project Adapt: A Proposal to Prevent Future Basement Backup & Flooding

We want to explore the possibility of making changes to our plumbing devices to prevent future basement backups and flooding. Residents of Jefferson Village II have been adversely on several occasions in recent years during extreme rain fall, while being accompanied by infrastructure failures. The entire proposal is posted her for your download and review.

Neighborhood Enterprise Zone Application

Jefferson Village II is located in a designated Neighborhood Enterprise Zone (NEZ). The benefit to homeowners is lower taxes. An application to apply is attached hereto.

2025 Annual Association Fees

A new way to make your payment of your upcoming 2024 annual association fees:

  1. Payments can be made online through our new online portal for co-owners. Several payment sources are available: by ACH from checking or savings account, debit card or credit card. You will receive an email soon from greaterdetroitrealty.managebuilding.com. This welcome email will give you instructions on how to access your account. This is our preferred method of payment.
  2. Mail your payment in the envelope to: Jefferson Village II Condo Association, PO Box 14130, Detroit, MI 48214

Make sure management has your email address to facilitate this new process. Contact management with any questions. We look forward to the implementation of this online process.

Flood Mitigation Plan

The City of Detroit has issued an Emergency Order to waterfront property owners in the Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood and surrounding properties affected by or threatened by coastal flooding in an effort to support mitigation of anticipated water levels in 2020 and threat posed by City infrastructure. Please take a moment to view the notice and the plan for the Lower East Side.
